Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival is the optimal outdoor activity to welcome Spring. Each year tourist and locals rejoice as the weather warms and these charming pink-petal trees flourish. Head over to the picturesque Brooklyn Botanical Gardens to engage in over 60 events over a span of two days. Enjoy Taiko drummers, cosplay actors, J-rock bands, samurai sword master, stand-up comics, dance parties, and more. There will also be food and drinks for sale alongside a Japanese tea room, a mini market of Japanese goods such as wall scrolls and silk wraps. Keep your eyes peeled for Raaka chocolates that are delicious and exotic. We can't think of a better way to spend your weekend than surrounded by blooming flowers.
